KNOWLEDGE INVESTMENT EARNS INTEREST
Education is one of the sustainable development goals in Kenya’s vision 2030. Investing in education leads to positive outcomes that benefit the society. It raises women’s standard of living in economic, social and health terms, it also enhances increased performance leading to capacity building and increased skilled manpower force in the society and also reduces rates of crime and insecurity.
Precious Blood Girls' High School Juja is a boarding school based in the Archdiocese of Nairobi, run and managed by the Precious Blood Sisters. We form the girl child physically, socially, spiritually, morally and emotionally to better people in the society as well as keeping the good performance in education. It is open to girls of all races, religions and cultures. However, the school maintains, in accordance with the catholic principles and values firm Catholic environment and culture in administration and operations. The school offers high quality education in a serene environment for learners from within Kiambu County and beyond.
The school started in January 2018, due to a great need to promote the girl child who is vulnerable and a victim of many dangers in our world today. From our experience of children who have gone through Amani primary school of the street children, many girls have dropped out of secondary schools and we accommodate these girls in our own Juja Girls High School where they can get good morals and better formation. We nurture the talents of young girls with different capabilities which is a great advantage of any child who steps in our school since it must be evident that wherever we work, we are moved by the spirit that urged Christ to give his life for all humankind.

According to UNESCO, if all children especially girls completed primary and secondary education, child mortality would drop saving nearly one million lives annually. Maternal deaths would also reduce since schools can provide girls with life skills, reproductive health knowledge and a social space to discuss issues. Every girl that receives an education is more likely to make education a priority for her children. It is therefore a ripple effect of positive change in the society and world at large.
